Sun Break

We had a sunny afternoon on friday, so we took a short drive up the coast to pick up a few more beads for this last piece...on our way back, we took a sideroad along one of our favorite parts of the coast and I took this photo. I probably have taken hundreds of photos from this site over the years, in all seasons and kinds of weather....I never get tired of it.
Today it was back to the cold and the misty rain, so I got a bit of work done inside...

I'm that way about pictures along the Big Sur coastline here in CA. It doesn't matter what the weather is, it's beautiful.

Love the photo of the coast - the yellow flowers in the foreground really set every thing off. I Also love your latest BJP it has such a calm and soothing feeling to it. Lidia

We're getting a few sunbreaks too. Sure is a nice change!

Could this mystery lady actually *be* Our Lady of Perpetual of Perpetual Waves of Inspiration?! She's lovely, whoever she is :- )

Well, I think she is going to be quite lovely. I love the batik you are using.
Our weather was very warm until recently when the wind sprang up and roared. They predict snow before morning. We'll see.

Your photos are always awesome! And that face is beginning to look a teeny bit smug in knowing it has you hooked on it.

I love this shot with the yellow flowers and the blue ocean! Beautiful! That is one good thing about our weather, it allows us to work on the things we are most passionate about! You went up the coast for beads, not Nye Cottage? Where else do you like to go? Island Beads??? Mark and I stopped there when we saw you in Newport on our way home! I did a little extra damage there too!!! ;-))

Nye cottage has delicas but she doesn't carry the japanese seed beads or the japanese #1 bugle beads that I'm using a lot of lately.
I find there is no single bead shop, not even one as large as shipwreck beads, that carries everything I use and/or collect!
