I've posted the first 25 pieces finished (mostly) in the Basho series here on my flickr site....this photo is of the first 24, just so I could see how they looked together...I may change this a bit.
Love seeing them all together like this. Beautiful, I truly have enjoyed watching you work through all these pieces which come from your heart and soul, having nimble fingers helped a lot as well.
thanks, janet...I can't believe how much I'm learning with this series.
yes, jackie, they will be in order but there's so many ways to go...left to right, or up and down...and how many wide and how many across...each different way ends up in a different layout and some work better than others! I think I'll be spending quite a bit of time laying them out when they're all finished, before I decide what their final look will be! and thank you!
Wow!! This is so amazing! The earth tones call to me, and the use of the material is beautiful! What an inspiration to the whole idea of doing a series, and a great example for the rest of us! Thanks, Denise
Are you going to frame these individually, Bobbi? The effect will be much different with some white space around them and it may affect greatly how you feel about the progression of the order.
No...I don't think I'll frame them individually, kathy, but there might be some neutral color as background and they probably won't be tight up against each other the way they are in this photo...

Do you think they might end up in the order in which Basho traveled?
These are really wonderful -- I never tire of seeing them.
