Happy New Year!

I want to thank everyone who has stopped by during the year and (especially the gals from the BJP who drop by regularly) and wish everyone a very happy and healthy new year! It's been such a pleasure to post in the blog and then see what you all have to say about the posts...I know if I was just posting for myself, I'd be posting a lot less, but you all make it so rewarding to do this on a regular basis.
And since I've committed to being Creative Every Day (which will be known by CED from here on in), I'll be posting even more regularly...life and the weather permitting!
And for today's CED, I've sewn the stitched piece onto the purse and lined it....I'm saving the finish for tomorrow, as I'm still unsure about the strap. It isn't a very large purse, about 8x11, I think, but it will give me a nice one to wear to art openings and I'm sure I'll get lots of feedback there!

This is really kewl, Bobbi. Love the different directions you have been going in lately --- I have too -- love to do my beading, but there are so many things I want to try and to learn -- so while I am still beading my interests have really taken me to places I have never been before with my works. I love it -- it has been such fun. Who knows, we may meet up at a place neither of us has been --- now that would be fun :-)

hi jackie...yes, I've really been enjoying the new directions you've been going in also! My next goal is to use more metal and words in my fiber pieces...I have the metal and I have the type, now I just have to figure out what I want to say!

Your new header on the blog is so gorgeous! I need to get to the beach more often...it's been over a year. 2009, the year I get to the coast at least 5 times.

Happy New Year, I hope it's one of creative adventure and prosperity!

Thanks, tay! The photo was taken from one of the viewpoints on the south side of neahkanie mtn., south of cannon beach, but north of nehalem...I've also driven it in the spring and summer and it's a beautiful view then too!

Beautiful photos from the last post too.

I hope your new year is without physical limitations other than the ones you may already have. The BJP has brought lots of people together.

Your commitment to being CED is going to help me be more aware I'm sure. I just have this annoying lack of energy thing that happens too often!
