Lovely Afternoon

Despite a dark and gloomy morning, this afternoon the sun came out and as I was on my way home from a trip down south to a sunday farmers' market, I stopped at the new park at beaver creek...loveliest visitor center I've seen and the view from the deck is wonderful. Next week I may try one of the trails down to the wetlands...I'm so happy our lottery dollars made this park possible!

Looks like a great place to wander around. We spend a lot of time at our county parks. One is tree blocks from me and runs from the river up around the creek. Lots to see and nice trails to trek.

Lucky you to have such beauty so close to home.

I am so glad you got to the Farmers' Market. This year only Barry made it there and brought back a basket of Chanterelles to my great joy.

Thank you for stopping by, I hope you have some more energy in the coming days. I do understand, and I believe you know I do. Tomorrow is the 5 of 8. Then we shall see. The bad news is that nothing has shrunk. The good news is that nothing has grown. Stasis in this case is progress, ne?

Hugs from here and hoping for sunny days for you.

thanks for taking the time to comment...always appreciated!
I hope we get to do a bit of rambling along the trails.
ah, allegra...you are often in my thoughts and I hope tomorrow shows shrinkage....but yes, stasis means we get to spend another day in the light, eh...so far, it beats the alternative.
