and the fog is rolling in...must be HOT in the valley again....on my way in to work, there was a long line of cars coming in from the east, escaping the heat of the interior no doubt!
Don't know if I've shown this before, but this is where I sit while staffing our upstairs gallery....every now and then I take a break and turn around and spend a few minutes just breathing in the ocean...
I've just started a new piece...too soon to show photos since I don't know what it's even going to be...so far just a little seal and a few charlottes...
oh...and this is my first blog from the gallery...we just got wifi, so I can bring my laptop to work and have all my photos, etc. to hand...fun!

We used to have windows like that on a porch at the back of our house. Terry turned it into another room that we could heat in the winter. For a long time we used it as a dining are, but it is big enough for a tv and lounge chairs. I love windows. How nice that you can enjoy ocean scenery while at work.

It is getting hot indeed, but I am inside with the a/c because my joints are like rusted hinges and I am doing ok, the storm is expected to arrive between the 4th and 7th day with this new infusion and it hopefully will be a mild one.

Yep that marine layer just hovers here as well. Very cold today too. The wind has let up a bit and that is a good thing. Hurray for wifi. I am going to try and make it up your way this next week. Will let you know

Growing up we spent every holiday at the beach and I still find it so peaceful. The view from your window is so beautiful and relaxing. It would be so good having the ocean as a backdrop. Hope you enjoy it every day.
Thanks to everyone for stopping in and commenting...I'm glad I got to enjoy the sun at work yesterday because today it's overcast all over town, so unless it clears this afternoon, we'll be sun-less until it cools off in the valley...that's the willamette valley, by the way,(I keep forgetting to mention that!)

LOL...it's just temporary, pat! After I'm finished at the gallery, I haul it all home again...I do love having wifi now, so I can take my laptop with me when I gallery sit!
How fun that we get to visit you while you're 'on the job' and what a view you have -- I'd never get anything done!
