After my burst of creativity yesterday, I had to take this morning off and I spent it (big surprise!) surfing the web.

I am so sorry to hear about the Codeine episode! If someone is your soul sister now, here I am. I just posted about my decisions after spending an incredible amount of time at OHSU today. I truly love everyone there, kind and considerate and above all, respectful of the patient choices. We are lucky to live here, not only because of that but because in so many other ways I cannot think of another place I would like to be.
And as a jewelry designer I can tell you that your taste is impeccable. Mary's work is remarkable. Take care and cross codeine off as I have. Some times I must say the remedy is worse than the disease :)
dear allegra...just read and posted to you but also wanted to say that I too feel incredibly lucky to be living here, now....our local outpatient clinic (where I had my chemotherapy and infusions) has an incredible staff of wonderful nurses who have been a major support to me these past 7 years and I don't know what I would have done without them. Well, I know I would have had many long and tiring drives into the valley for one thing!
and I will be staying away from codeine for sure!
