May BJP

I've got the fabric chosen and cut out for may's bjp and I did some sewing on my second book, finishing the pocket and the inside front cover. I'm going to take a break now and then later fold the signatures for the book but I won't be sewing them in today...too much in one day and I get very sore muscles and can't work for a couple of days....balance and mindfulness are my practices today.

Good colors for the May page. I can see that leather would be tiring to work with. Do you have a tool to punch the holes in the leather before you sew? They look perfectly spaced too!

oh yes! when I took the class the teacher had punches and hammers but I borrowed a friend's fantastic japanese drill punch for the second book. It's way too expensive for me to buy, so I'm very grateful she is willing to loan it to me! Makes making the holes very, very easy on the hands!

Bobbi, I am responding to these words...*balance and mindfulness*...why are these words so, not-of-our-vocabulary...if you know what I mean???

LOL...yes, sweetpea, that's WHY I have to practice!

Beaders? Obsessive? Surely not!

Balance and mindfulness... two excellent words to live by. You and Sweetpea both seem to be pretty good at it!

Is your May fabric the same as for Primavera? I really like the way you arranged the patterns of the inside and outside hand. Do you have a see-through template so you know how it's going to look?

I'm jealous about your book class and LOVE the results. Oh yes indeed!!!!!!
