I've picked this months bjp fabrics to remind me of how lovely our lilacs are this april. Last year we had two small clusters (we think the deer got the rest) so the abundant blooms this year are really exciting! I hope my journal piece this month will express my gratitude for being here to welcome and enjoy another spring.

You purple is beautiful. I love blue purple. Lilacs are my very favorite next to violets. We have several bushes in our yard in all colors. I love them so much and the fragrance. However, they get my allergies going so I live on Anithistimines at this time of the year.

I adore lilacs..it's bee nso long since I've seen them. They don't grow in the deeper south. Growing up in WV we had lots of them...such a fragrance!
