April BJP Update

I'm close to being finished here...at least the center hand is done...and as always, click on the photo if you'd like to see it larger.
I think the briolettes that make up the flower are fluorite not amethyst, but I bought them a long time ago and I'm not really sure what they are. The two bees are antique bronze and I have no idea what the bottom stone is...another buy from a long time ago before I started labeling my gemstones. Guess I thought I'd always remember, lol!

Very cool hand. Maybe cause it's purple. I especially like the bees. I'm not crazy for real bees, but I love fake bees. One of my favorite sayings is "Put your bee wings on" when I think someone should have gotten more information.

Happy weekend.

Ohh, my favorite colors. I too love the bees. Isn't it fun when you can go into your stash and find something wonderful to use - while at the time you stashed it you had NO idea what you'd do with it. This is beautiful.

The colors are so lovely. One color flows into another, shape flows into shape. Really nice.
What are the beads around rose quartz "flower"?

thanks...it sounds like purple/lavender is a really popular color...
the beads around the petals are purple iris nailheads, pat. and the tiny ones around them are charlottes.

There was a time when I knew all of my beads and all of my stones... where I bought them and what they were. Ha! No more... Oh well. Your lilac celebration is coming along beautifully!
