Mostly Finito
I just have to mat and frame it...but all the stitching is done...
I've been getting more interested in steam punk so I added a few tiny watch gears to this piece and put sequins under them so they would stand out a bit...kind of to remind me once again that everything old is new again and each generation adds their own special twist to the older bits.

Really like this, Bobbi. The gears are a nice touch.
Just LUVING this one! The idea of concentric hands with different fabric patterns makes the center hand more precious somehow. Those little gold ? beads spaced around the outer edge of middle hand, are they shells, or...? For me, they anchor the center hand.
Totally COOL!! I'm really going to enjoy seeing what you come up with all year :>]]

Another cool hand! Funny, but I especially like the fingernails on this one. Probably because I can't grow nice ones myself. The gears are a cool touch. Steampunk is so neat...anything goes.

It's beautiful. I love the colors and the triple layer hands. Adding the steampunk is a cool idea.

Oh, I like this very much! the wandering heart and bugle paths, the steampunk watch gears, and the colors. Very nice.
This looks really nice. Steam punk seems to be pretty popular.
thanks for stopping by and the kind comments...I've sure enjoyed making this piece, so I think I chose the right one for this year for me!
sweetpea, the beads on the second hand are little glass heart-shaped, tan nailheads...I'll have to take a better photo next time!
