June BJP

I was going for things that are lighter than air...then I decided I'd try to portray my hands reaching for bubbles, but the bubbles turned into memories, so now I'm reaching out and touching many memories of the past...not just the distant past but also recent things like a visiting deer in our garden and a beautiful sunset last week and a drive through the wild rhododendrons in the woods...I'm focusing on creating beautiful and peaceful memories this summer to last me through the winter...

It looks very summery and light in the sense of sunshine and not like it isn't saying something. I love the way the material and 'bubbles' seem to add so much motion!

This is a great page, Bobbi! I've found myself very pensive lately also and bringing up memories of things that I have loved and they seem like bubbles too! Your page is great!

Funny how your thoughts change when you create a page. So glad that you are thinking of happy yet peaceful memories.

Capturing memory is one of the main reasons why I blog...I love the idea that you're reaching for memories...and that fabric is perfect...maybe like some of them aren't reachable...That's the way I feel these days anyway...how very quickly we forget details, thoughts, places and people...I'll try to remind you of the rhododendron, the deer, and the sunset this winter...I hope that memory stays with me otherwise we'll both have to check this post!

OK, I'll leave you alone now. I love the fact that all of your pieces have hands...I love your hands...

The background fabric reminds me of looking at pebbles or sand through shallow water. Love the memory bubbles -- wishing you many more peaceful and pleasant memories ...

I really like this page, Bobbi! Love the fabric and your hands reaching for the bubbles.

It is lovely that you are reaching out and touching old memories and that you are focusing on creating new memories...beautiful ones...simple ones that will last you through the winter. It is the simple things in life that mean so much...

I'm wishing you many more simple and beautiful memories...~Lisa

Love this page and post; interesting how this struck a cord with so many of us. You are so right about remembering the small lovely things...like the family of quail that crossed my walking path this morning.....

What a fabulous idea! I just love the thought of focusing on recent and past memories, the beautiful and peaceful ones, to last through the dark months! I'm going to try it too.

I adore MOP rings... How lovely they look in this piece!!!
