Surprise Finish
I kept looking at this all day trying to figure out where the lovely green charlottes I had picked out would go but instead these three dyed shell rectangles and faux tortoiseshell leaves insisted on going on the bottom and it then declared itself finished...believe me, I was the last to know!

Love it - the wind blowing the leaves. Just enough!
The focus beads you selected are all so incredibly beautiful. It's also fun (and inspiring) to get a sense of the ways you may be breaking out and manipulating fabrics to enhance the overall look of your pieces, etc. And I am blown away by the beauty of your new banner!
I love the three leaves on the bottom - what a fantastic piece!
Needless to say, I love it. Isn't it odd how those little beads have a mind of their own? HeeHee!

thanks you all for your wonderfully kind comments! I was just thinking I need to change my banner to one with some of my beadwork in it, but maybe I'll wait a while to do that!
(it's part of what makes it fun, isn't it, arline!)
The winds are blowing in fall all around, I think. This is a fantastic page! Those leaves and rectangles are wonderful, as well.

Your ability to find symmetry in your beadwork is one of those things that make it stand out. It's the sheer genius of simplicity.
Love it!
Cheers, Denise
Really beautiful!!!
Congratulations!!!
Your banner is beautiful. Don't change it for a little while for those of us not near water, please.
This is a very pretty page. Sometimes they just know what they want don't they. Mine is coming out totally different than I thought it would. I love those transparent beads falling off the bottom.
So, so lovely... those shell rectangles are perfect!!!! Manipulating fabrics is one of my plans for this year too... I love your yellow silk and it's sumptuous tucks and texture! Hugs, Robin A.
okay, timaree...I'll keep it for a while...;)
thanks, robin! hugs to you too!
