BB - These are just wonderful! I can't wait to see all of them together - I can't tell you how much I've enjoyed watching the progress of your work and reading the Basho's poems. Lidia

You truly have captured the sense of Oriental art in these pieces, Bobbi. I would give anything to see this exhibit in person, too! You'll just have to get someone to make a nifty video of it . . .

Bobbi these are great. Are you planing to show them altogether, or do you have a flickr page where i can see them as a group?

Both of these are outstanding, Bobbi. I love the colors and the feelings I get from them.

Okay, what are or what did you use to make the things that look like gears on the darker Basho? Did you stack a couple of elements? Very cool. I really like the metal pieces on the other one. Amazing what just a few embellishments can accomplish!

thanks a lot...I'll be sure to take lots of photos of the exhibit and post them here...sort of a virtual art show, eh!

paula, my flickr page has a set called basho and you can sort of see them all together...

sue...they're all sequins and yes I stacked the gear shaped one in the bottom then a green one then a smaller pale green one and then a dark green size 14 seed bead at the top to hold them all down.

Just beautiful!!! I am so thrilled for you to know the journey is almost complete and yet I understand...a little sad too! The BJP will have your motor running after the show, and are you considering possibly doing another series? What a wonderful project Bobbi!
