The Final Push

I've got the next 4 Basho pieces coming along....all the fabric is chosen and most of the beads and other elements ready to be sewn on, but it was so nice out yesterday we took the day off from beading and the garden and went for a drive up the coast a way...stopped at our favorite bookstore and nursery and picked up a few small plants for the garden and porch, so today I'm ready to get back to work!

You need to enjoy a nice day when you get one!

We've had a couple of pretty days too. What a nice change!

Your postcard looks good. I wish you success with the show. (I *wish* I could come down and see it in person!)

What is that gorgeous stone below the face, Bobbi? The aura of this page is already hinting at something special . . .

It's so neat to see the way you have these planned and ready to go like that. I could learn from that planning! I'm such a victim of the "what is in front of me" syndrome.
I don't blame you for taking a ride, Oregon is so beautiful!
Cheers, Denise

thanks, freebird!

It's about time, isn't it, sue!

kathy...I'll have to go and ask...I can't remember anymore as I bought this piece several months ago, at least.

thanks, denise...it's partly planned and then it becomes improvisational...and if what you do works for you, I'd stay with it. I have lots of friends who don't work at all the way I do and their work is fabulous because working that way is comfortable to them!

You are almost there!!! What a journey and story they will tell! I'm so glad you got away...always does the soul good! Every time I walk away...I can't wait to get back to me and creating! It's always refreshing to get a breath of fresh air!

Hugs...~Lisa

Wow - these look excellent, and I am very impressed with the way the beads and fabrics are so organised in ziplock bags - you are always inspiring me. I also find getting out into the fresh air renewing. I've got an idea bubbling away and need to pin it down and going to the market today will hopefully jostle it into place.

thanks, mixpix! Since I often take them with me when I go to work, I've been putting the next couple in a bag with the beads & embellishments I want to us and then all I need to add is my little travel bag that carries my main supplies...velux-covered beading tray, box of threads, needles, scissors, tiny pliers and pin cushion.
