The center is a vintage German cabochon and there are swarovski flowers and 22kt. gold bugles and charlottes.
The back side shows the ultrasuede and the pin/pendant finding I use.
I made it in the shape of a comma, since it's just a little pause before I get back into the Basho series...

What a lovely piece. Is it done on leather?
thank you...no, it's done on commercial cotton batik with a light interfacting ironed on and then finished with a small bit of ultrasuede...
Ha! Love the reason you chose the shape for this piece :- )
Basho 33 is simple, straightforward, and lovely.
This is a sweet piece, Bobbi -- just can't let those hands go idle, right?

thanks, sue!
yes, exactly, kathy!
That's so pretty! I love little beaded pins.
I dug into a box of take apart reuse items, and got out an old bead embroidered free shape and wore it. Got more nice comments on it! I love yours too!
This is one gorgeous pin. Love everything about it.
I love your little pin. I like that the background is allowed to peek through.
I love this pin, Bobbi. It's given me a much better idea of using the bugle beads with the small round beads at each end as you explained to me one day.
yeah...the pin uses them in three different ways...side by side, in a line and in the fringe...
I love this pin. It's so great!! I'm 12 and I make beaded jewelry using semi-precious stones. Your work is amazing!!
thank you, cambria...your work is lovely and you have a wonderful sense of color...I look forward to seeing your future work as well.
