que bellos tus pines, este me ha gustado muchisimo!!!te felicito tu blog es hermoso
muchas gracias, martha!
You got tired of doing big stuff?? That's funny. Anyways, I like th house pin! The bird at the top is my fav.
thanks!yeah, lb...that's why I put quotes around "big"....compared to say, your yellow submarine, it's not really, is it, lol!
Cute. Different than an all-beaded cab. How big (I mean how little) is it?
It's 2x3.75, freebird...
Wow, this pin is so beautiful I leave it up while I'm working on my dissertation to give me inspiration. Can I ask, do you first glue the fabric onto some sort of backing? I know this is really basic, but I'm dying to know. Thanks for all the beauty you bring into the world.
thanks, msing! I fuse the cotton fabric to a heavier weight fusable called pellon. then after it's all beaded, I back it with a piece of ultrasuede using double sided tape and then bead the edge....oh, I add the pin back to the ultrasuede before I tape it to the back of the piece.
Thank you so much for telling me how this is done! I'm so grateful. Your work is so beautiful, it should be in a museum.
