House Pin/Pendant


Got a bit tired of doing "big" stuff, so this little house pin was an afternoon's work...

yeah, lb...that's why I put quotes around "big"....compared to say, your yellow submarine, it's not really, is it, lol!

Wow, this pin is so beautiful I leave it up while I'm working on my dissertation to give me inspiration.

Can I ask, do you first glue the fabric onto some sort of backing? I know this is really basic, but I'm dying to know.

thanks, msing! I fuse the cotton fabric to a heavier weight fusable called pellon. then after it's all beaded, I back it with a piece of ultrasuede using double sided tape and then bead the edge....oh, I add the pin back to the ultrasuede before I tape it to the back of the piece.
