Glass drop basket

I made this one with the larger size 8 beads and the drops made by myuki with a few 11's for sizing...the actual color was just about impossible to catch, as it's a kind of soap bubble color in the sun, but it loses all the AB in the photo when the color is correct....maybe I need a better camera!

When I was doing dishes this afternoon the sun was coming through the window and on to the bubbles made from the dish washing liquid -- you are so right -- that's exactly what this looks like. Love it!

Hello bb49,
I love those baskets, how long does it take? Is it possible to make big ones into dishes? Got my Basho book this w/e,(with the right translator too!) can't wait to get stuck into it! I think your nber 7 turned out really well, and a lot of work too.

hi ml...they take a couple of hours to make...they'd probably go a bit faster if I made them the same but I usually change something on each one, so I'm making them up as I go.
You could make larger ones but I don't know if they'd be as large as a dish...I don't think you could make them rigid enough using the peyote stitch. You might want to consider beading around a glass bowl...the bowl would support the beads and keep them from sagging.
It would take a lot of time though!
