Beginning
I started Primavera yesterday...the first photo is about an hour into it and the last is about 3 hours...the whole piece is 4x12 inches and I'm hoping to do 4 of them...starting each one on the equinox or the solstice of the season.
The leaves have an irridescent finish, but it doesn't seem to show unless you get in real close.

I already love this and it isn't even finished! Beautiful colors - I love soft, muted colors. Love the way you used the leaf beads.
Even though pastels are not my thing, this has the potential of being one of my favorite pieces of yours.
Oh Bobbi, I loveee this already! Wow...now I'm so excited to see this completed! Actually now I can't wait to see all four of them! What a excellent idea this is to! Gosh I just love your work!
I hope that you have a wonderful day.
Hugs and happy beading...

First, let me say how much I like the start of this piece.
Second, I love the way you have attached the leaves. I don't think I ever would have thought of this technique. I hope you don't mind if I use it some time in the future. I love it.
Have a great Sunday.

thanks...I'm not real big on pastels either, but this season seems to call for them, lol!
hugs to you too, bobbi....hope you're having a great weekend!
carol, you go right ahead...I'm sure the idea isn't original with me but I can't remember where I've seen it before so can't give credit...
Excellent idea, Bobbi! Love your start on this one . . .

I fortunately love pastels and love the leaves on this piece.
I really love how you did the leaves!
thanks again for all your kind comments!
Ooo, I love the hair treatment on this face. I'm going to have to remember that and try it out for myself sometime!
