Road Trip

The weather was so perfect yesterday we took a short roadtrip down the coast to florence. I think it's one of the most beautiful drives in the world and we hadn't done it all summer. I wanted to take some photos from the top of cape perpetua and the bridge in florence. Got the cape perpetua ones (and this one I'm using for my wallpaper now) but they were working on the bridge, so it wasn't a good time to photograph it.
Today is gallery sitting and another pair of earrings or pendant this afternoon....it's raining so we won't have to water the garden and tomorrow the sunny weather is scheduled to return, I hope!
Photos are from cape perpetua looking south and further down the highway, a view looking south towards florence and a little hidden walkway in florence that felt so cool and serene.

Was running short of time, so I didn't comment on the triangle necklace. Absolutely stunning! And the drive looks resorative. The fresh breeze and that beautiful shoreline.
Good for you.

Hi Bobbi...I knew I was behind in visiting, but gasped when I realized it's been 4+ weeks! But it already feels like home dropping in for a visit. I've been thinking of you and hope things are going well your way. The weather is finally making a change and we are a bit grateful, as we both need to physically slow down for awhile.

Love that new header of yours, especially the *skeleton*...he made me smile!

The photos you shared are beautiful! Our coastline is SO gorgeous and breathtaking!!!! Glad you and Chuck snuck away on such a pretty day...how refreshing.

We used to stay in Florence, years ago, at Driftwood Shores...before the kids and a few times when they were little too. XO ~me
