May BJP
I have the fabric and the hand ready for May...now to wait and see what comes up next.
Last weekend I made a little cuff out of ultrasuede and wool felt with some MOP buttons and rings and edged with triangle beads. I especially like the tube clasp, as I think it makes the whole piece look very simple.

That is very attractive. But how does the "tube" clasp work. Does it slide on? I really like your work and I like the face pin that you have on 4/27/09 blog but did not see it in your etsy shop. did it sell already?
hi pat...yes, the tube clasp just slides on....I got it at fire mountain gems.
If you go to my etsy store and click on the turquoise face pin you will see the other two that are also for sale...and right now they're all just $18 plus $2 shipping, so be careful not to overpay. And thanks for asking!
The cuff is wonderful, Bobbi. I don't wear bracelets much but I am very drawn to cuffs. It looks a bit like your May BJP project hand has escaped from a cuff...It appears to be floating in freedom!
xoxo Camilla
I'm really liking the BJP pages you're doing this time around. I guess what appeals to me is the consistency of the hand on a batik print.
My pin/pendant arrived safe and sound yesterday. It's even better in person!
thanks, camilla...I don't wear them a lot either, but I like the feel of the ultrasuede against the skin..
Thanks, sue...and I'm glad it arrived safe!
Hi Bobbi...catching up on the computer before the weekend and you know where I'll be...not going to miss the little bit of sunshine we are going to have.
Love the cuff and adore the MOP pieces...it's beautiful! Your batik for May is gorgeous and I love that you are stitching a hand in your pieces!
Hope you have a nice weekend and Happy Mother's Day too! I've been thinking of you! XOXO ~Lisa
hi lisa...we'll have to compare garden notes next week, lol!
Same to you on the weekend and Mother's day....looks like a lovely sunny one this year!
Your work is so beautiful! And you are the most wonderful photographer.
A stunning cuff.
