And they turned out wonderful!!! I love that one up in the left hand corner - great look to her! Now, what are you going to do with them? Any plans? Cheers, Denise (who is smiling over here in ottawa!)
No specific plans except the one of them will be on my May bjp...
The face on the top left is one I just made a mold of from an old Asian carving we have...send me your email and I'll send her to you as a small thank-you for the kick start, lol!
I think it is great that you have all those colors in your faces. And if it took a drop kick to start you, what a finish is in store. I'm not a good face user, so I enjoy when people are!
hi mary! the finish is way down the line for some of these faces....and I have some early ones that I need to repaint because they aren't at all what I'll use and my skills were even more rudimentary when I made them!
Your faces are great, BB. You do everything so well. I admire all your work and your persistence too. I'm in a bit of a funk -- have 10 things I would like to start and can't force myself to do even the simplest one. Ah, well, that too shall pass, right? Next week I'll probably be trying to do all 10 at the same time LOL. Thanks for always being an incentive.
I came back to see how you had painted the faces.... they are wonderful. I made some a while back and can't decide how to finish them. I made several with paper/air dry clay.... have you tried any of that?? I'm thinking of using one on my April BJP, guess I just need to make a decision and get on with it....
Bobbi...kudos! I love your faces and the colors! Good for you in finding some faces that are old and unique! I love that! I am really looking forward to see how you use them! ;-) Lisa
