Behind Basho

I'm actually getting stuff done, but photos of the finished backs of the basho pieces would all look pretty much the same, so you'll all just have to picture lots of little 4x4 black ultrasuede backs with tiny little eyes sewn to them...I'm 1/4 of the way through, so still have lots to go.
Unfortunately my first couple of ideas of how to gather them all into one piece didn't pan out, so I'm pondering some other ways to do it...

I always wondered what size these Basho pages were! Have you considered placing them in shadow box frames?

I'd thought about it kathy, but I couldn't afford that many frames and it would separate them, when what I want them to do is read as a whole...like the pages of a book.

Question, Bobbi -- how large of a space will this exhibit be in?

It's just 300 square feet, kathy, in an L shaped room...

Bobbi -- don't the Japanese and Chinese stanzas usually read vertically? Are you planning to include the stanzas of the Basho poetry with the beaded pieces?

Email me your phone number at kathyvberg@aol.com. Our photographer daughter used to make great vertical displays and I think I may have an idea for you that is not expensive.

I'm amazed at all the wonderful things you are producing every day! Whew! I'm almost tired thinking of them all.
