BJP Update

I've figured out how I'm going to display my bead journal pages....they will be in groups of three, one set to each season...so the photos are the first set, made of the june, july and august pages (Summer) and set up as you see. It's not a vessel or basket since it has no bottom, but it is three dimensional, so I have no idea at all what you'd call it?
I may paint the dowels and wooden beads, but I'm not sure yet. Have to live with it for a while and then I can make up my mind.

Very cool idea, Bobbi! Your pages have a decidely "oriental" feel to them and this display form contributes to that feeling as well.

I'm in love with your idea! How cool is that. I forgot to post on BJP that my April page is finished. Oh, well. I hope to finish May and will do them both at that time.

Very clever and artistic, Bobbi.
What a super way to display a year in beading.

very good display - congrats. it seems like mounting or display of the pieces is the hardest part of all. Now i'm already thinking of what to do for the 2008 BJP - it'll take months to come up with something. Will keep your little looks in mind!

I just love the way you mounted your BJP pieces. Very original and creative. They almost look like little easels - perfect for displaying your bead art. Lidia

These are absolutely gorgeous. I love the contrast of the beading on the little wooden legs. Really calls attention to their detail and texture. Wonderful!
