Better Photo

This shows it better?

And thanks, kathy...triptich it is!

They will be standing on pedestals that people can walk around, so they can see all the "faces"...

and yes, kris...I made fabric loops (or hinges) to connect them.

thank you all for commenting!

I knew this was how you meant, Bobbi, but this photo shows it.

Awesome, Bobbi -- these will make a wonderful display. Those fabric loops are just the right finishing touch.

Hi Bobbi: you are so incredibly talented, all of your beautiful faces/pages are just wonderful. And your idea to use the triptich type display is perfect. Are you putting them in a specific show ??
Just wanted to pop-in and say hi and ohhhhhhh and ahhhhhhhh for a bit.

oh good! I'm glad it's clear now how I did it....lots of the book arts folks seem to be using this format, although usually theirs are 3 panels with the first & third not connected.
hi sandra! yea...they are for a show I'm having at our local visual arts center this august.

Bobbi,

I love what you've done with your pieces, now you'd better enter them in an art gallery some place. Such a great way to show off this project.

I love the dimensionality of the display, as well as the originality.
I would love to see your pieces in person and walk around them.

Excellent way to display your work, Bobbi!!! They will look awesome in the show.

Oddly enough, I've been thinking of something similar for my BJP "cards", only a square (four in each group) or even a circle (all of them together). Three is a magical number and the triangle a magical shape... I adore your triptichs!

thanks for all your great comments!

I've already made a couple of small changes (smaller beads at the bottom of the dowels) but will definitely stay with the three-way grouping...3 is a magical number for me too, robin...I was an only child and my son is also, so I'm very comfortable in groups of three...
