Bakin'

I've been bakin' this morning...now I get to paint too...nothing makes me feel quite as rich as a drawer full of faces!

Now how many people can make that statement? I've never thought of being rich in that way. Are you sure you're not a forensic pathologist?

lol...oooo...it could be gruesome, couldn't it, mary!

Funny you should post this today. I spent last evening making faces and baked them this morning. Do you sculpt your own, or are they from molds?

I get them any way I can, arline...I use commercial molds, I make molds from pieces I have that aren't copyrighted and I sculpt my own (but only when I'm desperate, since I'm not too good, alas.)

Love those faces! It is fun to spend a few hours pulling out the polymer clay and making them and quite satisfying to make them yourself!

I see you have some experience in that area yourself, pa!

Cool faces, Bobbi -- now you have reminded me that I need to make some more of these critters, too.

I can't believe how long it's been since you posted that you are going to paint these gorgeous faces and still not follow up! Can you tell I'm bored and I just have to bug you? I bet the west coast is gorgeous right now and you are out in the garden and on the beach soaking up the sun!
Hope you are enjoying yourself!

oh...I'm busted!

The reason you aren't seeing the painted faces is because they're still sitting on my table waiting for inspiration or something to strike!

hahaha! Yup, your busted!! I miss seeing your beading, you have been inspiring me!
But a day watching the waves is good too - and necessary!
