Herringbone, interrupted

Yes, I like this one much better....it will be an easy piece to teach new beaders and it looks good and it can be done in 3 hours by a new beader...I can do it in half that time now and less when I'm at the top of my form....the beads are a bronze finish toho size 8 and the centers are 3mm garnet AB firepolished crystals...the button is czech glass, I think.

Perfect class project!!!! Very attractive combination of beads and way better than the teal color sample you started earlier.

Can you believe I haven't tried herringbone yet??

hi, lb! It's a lot more versatile stitch than I realized at first, especially when you do it in the round...my little seahorses on my webpage are herringbone. And if you like freeform peyote, you'd love freeform herringbone!

It's a real elegant bracelet. I think I have just these 8/0 bronzes. ;) But are the beads on the end of the toggle to close the bracelet with the big bead also 8/0 or are that 11/0?

The beads holding the button closure and the loop for the button are all 11's....good eye, be!
