May BJP Finished

Although it's an overcast day, I still can't seem to get the colors just right...they are closer to the unframed shot than the framed one. Maybe on the next sunny day I can get closer to the actual colors in this piece.
For the background on the pieces I've chosen and why, see my May 4th post.

Edited to add...the sun came out and you can see the difference!

Its unnanymous! We all love that howling wolf!! Wonder why most people like that silloette of a wolf howling at the moon? Mystery? Maybe we just feel compassion for a lonely pack animal.

Great hands. Amazing the difference when the lighting changes.

It's hard to get the colors right in photos of beadwork...whichever is closest to real life, I love them all!

It's fabulous. I love the shapes and the colors and how you have incorporated the coyote/wolf shape into this. I have some stuff like you have used in the background of your framed piece, I hadn't figured out what to do with it yet but this might be a good use for mine. Beautiful piece.

Thanks so much for all the kind comments...this one is a special one to me, so it's especially nice that it's touched some of you as well.

Jan, the metallic paper also works well in collage and mixed media pieces and the book arts folks have used it as well...it's sure versatile!
