Finito

Finished on the beading anyway...still not sure of the final finish...jewelry, or book insert or part of a wall hanging...I'll look at it until it tells me what it has to be...you know how that goes!

I spent yesterday in the valley with friends, visiting art galleries, museums and holiday shows! We had such a good time, we are planning to do it again. There's nothing quite as wonderful as doing something you love to do with dear friends! AND we had some blue sky and sunshine!

Beautiful piece! I can't really gage the size from the photo, but if it's actual size I'm seeing I'd think a book insert would be cool.

Boy, that got heavily embellished didn't it?! Looks great!

I'm casting about for a shape a little more interesting than a rectangle or square for the BJP too but so far haven't had any brilliant ideas. I may go with postcards just as a default setting. The benefit would be that I could concentrate more on the bead embellishing than on creating the foundation or finishing up at the end.

We've had some pretty wild weather up here too. And boy, do I know what you mean about medium gray skies!

Really replicates the complexity of the hand. And meserizes in the same way. Have you ever done a blog where you explain your facination of the hand? I would really enjoy reading it.
