This month I'm going to focus even more on putting together colors that are out of my "comfort zone" in all my pieces... My "palette" for this week and one of the first experiments in colors...
I want to do that too. I always tend toward oranges, so to make me do blue is a shudder, but I can. I'm hoping to get Beverly Gilbert's new book when it comes out to help me with colors dot
Love that you are pushing yourself out of your comfort zone. Oh, yellow would do me in...lol! Think if I started it would end up being a UFO!!! However, it would be interesting to push myself and see what would happen. Good for you for pushing yourself...

So, how did you like working with colors that you usually don't use? I have a hard time doing that. Your piece IS pretty!
xx, Carol
love your new banner with the moon
That's a great banner! Did you take that photograph yourself? (It won't surprise me to learn that you did!)
It was hard to do, carol...but that's just why I'm doing it, lol! Glad you like the first one...
thanks, deborah...
yes, sue, I took it last night using a tripod... a little earlier would have been better, but it looks suitably fall-ish anyway!

Love that combo. I think that is going to be a goal for me this year-working on color. Be on the watch for some odd looking BJP pages.
The red and purple triangle looks great!
