March BJP Finished

Looks finished to me, although the lens really flattens the image- it's much more 3-D than you can see...plus I've got the fabric for april all ready to go and am collecting bits and pieces to use on it.

I've been watching a 5-part DVD called World on a String all about beads...history, materials, how they're made, people, spirituality and current uses and trends.....I've only watched the first one so far but it's extremely well done and I'm so glad our local library ordered it!
Here's the website in case you're interested in having your library buy it or maybe you'd like to buy it yourself...it would be an awesome addition to your reference library!

Hi Bobbi, I love how this piece looks - the bright colors, circles, spirals and the hand. A person who knew nothing about you or the BJP would absolutly get it that this piece is about reaching and about life. They would look at it for a long time, wondering about the central location of the 10 of hearts. Your beady story-telling just jumped another rung on the ladder!

Your fabric for next month is so beautiful.... may spring on the Oregon coast be like that for you! By the way, I just put some of Robert's pictures from our Dunes trip on his website, here. Pick out one you like, and I'll send it to you.

I liked "World on a String" so much that I bought it! Even Robert has enjoyed watching it a couple of times.

Hugs, Robin A.

I just couldn't imagine what else you could possibly add to this page, Bobbi -- it is marvelous.

And that fabric for April isn't too shabby, either!

Bobbi - I love this page, definitely a sign of reaching for happiness/life/goodness...
I want to thank you for all the encouragement that you have given me on my breast cancer and I read further on your blog today only to discover about your cancer metastasizing. I am struck with sadness and it brought a huge lump to my throat and tears to my eyes. Can I encourage you as you have encouraged me? Can I take some of your pain away? Oh, please keep me updated on your progress, Bobbi. and keep beading your feelings and talking to us here in the blogworld... we do so care!

hi pam...reading your blog has been a big encouragement to me and I'm glad something I've said may have helped you too.
I have tremendous support at home and in my community also, and the knowledge that all any of us have is today...no one, with or without cancer, is guaranteed tomorrow. I try to live by that belief and make each day count.

Really nice ! The whirls and hand are fantastic, and the colours are gorgeous.

Sorry, I haven't been here in a while but I have very little energy right now. However I think of you often. I do hope you are feeling OK.
