Decisions....
I finally got a start on the last bjp for last year and may have it finished soon. I'm also finding that I'm having a lot of difficulty making a decision about this year's pieces, so I decided to make 12 pin/pendant pieces, all in freeform shapes cut out from 3x3 inch squares. So the parameters will be 3 inches or less. I'm thinking I'll be using the sea as a theme...maybe each month will be inspired by a different tidepool or maybe just the sea in general. I may have a few more decisions to make...or not.
As soon as I get a bit more energy back, I'll be stopping at the other blogs to see how everyone else is getting along. Easy does it will be my motto this year...I hope the bjp folks remember to have fun with their pages!

We'll all have fun, including you because you enjoy the water so much, perhaps you will draw energy from it through your projects.
Here's to healthy, painless days.
Beautiful!!! pretty colors!!!
I think it's really smart to give yourself a smaller size to work with after the intense project you did last year :-) I'm doing a smaller size this year too...buttons!
look forward to seeing your 2011. I've really enjoyed your 2010 pieces!!
There would be endless inspiration using the sea as a guide. Take care of yourself.
I love the face in this latest piece. La Mer is a many faceted choice for this years BJP and surely will give you more ideas than you can cover in one year. Good luck, hope you feel stronger soon.
I'm thinking of beading an area about 3x3" this year too. And then I panic and think it's going to be too big and take too long. Guess I just have to start one and see what happens ;- )
This is really lovely. It looks like a ribbon theme? I like the use of the tube beads and the round beads together. Love the colors.
Hi there,
This is a bizarre questions, so please take it as such. A while back you mentioned a book (mystery) that you loved. I did not write it down and yesterday I spent about an hour with the library on line trying to find it but nothing! It has a name something thing like "MonkeyWorks". Would you pretty please tell me the title and author? Thanks, Pat
thanks again for stopping by and leaving such lovely comments...I'm moving slowly but I'm moving, so consider it good.
Pat...the book was monkeewrench and written by a mother/daughter team who write as p.j. tracy. I think there are 5 or 6 books in the series so far...it's an interesting premise set in a part of the country I don't know at all.
hi - the link to the 2011 BJP isn't working. my mom sent me the monkeewrench books last year - couldn't put them down! looking forward to seeing your projects this year - you always do such amazing work.
Thanks, I immediately got on to my library and requested a bunch. Do you ever listen to books on tape while you are working? I've got about five from the sale table at the library. If you are interested, I could mail them to you.
thanks pat, but I can't work and listen to books too....music, but not books where I have to follow the storyline.
