Beading by the river

I love to drive up our river road about 5 miles to this little roadside shaded spot and bead. I park the van and then move into the back seat while keeping the sliding door open and start beading...every once in a while I look up and all this blue water and the little "island" (you can only get to it by boat ) with it's house gives me such a sense of peace and serenity...I think it shows in the beadwork too.

Makes me think of fairy tales and limpid waters so inviting to rest and keep the madness of the world away. Indeed, something that feeds the spirit so much must reflect in your work. Simply beautiful.

Gorgeous picture and a beautiful day! Perfect spot to sneak away and stitch. Can you imagine living or being on that island?!

I'm so glad you have a special spot that you find so peaceful...it's a beautiful spot. The river or ocean does it for me too. I agree, it shows in the beadwork. Everything is better when we feel peace and serenity.

I can see it in my beadwork when things aren't right! Used to see it in my needlepoint stitching and knitting too. The more uptight I am the tighter the tension! :)
