February BJP Finished
and.....it's done. It's been a busy month and it's not over yet, but I've added elements from some local events, some national celebrations, like valentines (hearts) and black history month (face)...our local seafood and wine festival (fish), my two good doc appts. (hope and goddess figure) and robin & thom's visit (bunny and bear)....and friend gail's visit was celebrated by using my all time favorite tiny bugles which I got from her...thanks, gail!

Wow, you've got a lot of memories packed in one page! Looks nice too. And you are done before the end of February!
A lot said in a little space. It flows so well and takes your eye all over the page. Great!

This is gorgeous, Bobbi!

Bobbi... it's beautiful! All the elements and their meanings, tell such a great story. Love the tiny bugles from Gail too.
And your visit from Thom and Robin - how exciting. Sounds like a wonderful week ahead. Have fun!
Is this one more "documentary" than the previous BJP pages you've done? I don't remember previous pages having quite so many personal references. Maybe I just wasn't paying attention! Whatever, I REALLY like this one!
This is such a beautiful page, Bobbi, so special and full of meaning. You'll be able to look at it and remember all of your wonderful experiences.
Enjoy your visit with Robin and Thom!

I love how the pattern is incorporated into the beadwork. It is just beautiful. Say hi to Robin and THom. (Im their sister in law). Wish I was there...oh well. Julie C
thanks for the kind comments...as usual they add an extra lift to the ending of each piece...
yes, sue, I think this one is a more literal piece than some of my earlier ones...
hi julie! I'll say hi and I'm sure they wish you could be here too!
Oooo-WOW! I love the pattern of the beading, all the personal references and I love the face. All put together in such a wonderful composition. It's amazing.
Very nice, lovely colors.
Bobbi -
seeing the progression of this piece is just wonderful. It's beautiful, but the final piece is a little overwhelming to a novice like me. However, seeing each step, and how you added to it as you worked made sense. Makes me think even I could try this - one day!
you've inspired me to write a new post, purple girl, on inspiration...
