Old Work

These are some old friends I keep in a knicknack cupboard...they're tiny little beaded baskets I made many years ago....and one tiny bottle I beaded around. A friend just loaned me her copy of 500 Baskets and I'm thinking of doing some new baskets, so it seemd like a good time to revisit the old ones.

Wow! These are great, BB. I love the one with the supporting dowels, particularly. But then I settle on the little one with the big jade colored beads and then move next door to that...and then I have three favorites and so on. Gorgeous little treasures.

Lovely, lovely little baskets.
Isn't it nice to revisit our olderworks?

thanks!

It is nice sometimes to look back along the way and see some of the things we've done and what they remind us of.

hi, lb...they're between 2-3 centimeters in diameter and the tallest...the one with the twig supports is about 7 centimeters tall...they're mostly done with size 13 charlottes except for one done with the japanese 15's and one done in 11's...I also used some larger beads around the top rim of some of them.
