And done...

This was just about all I could do this afternoon...
but it sure feels good to be able to feel the needle again!

So glad you can feel the needle again --- what a relief it must be for you.

Love this little gold guy -- again, your use of beads is fascinating. Been meaning to ask, do you use felt or some other base under the fabric when you bead? (I don't mean the ultra suede back.) Have to ask LB this too. I know Robin usually uses the paper.

Thanks again, your help is always appreciated.

thanks, janet!

hi, bg...good to see you here. I use a fairly lightweight iron on pellon on the back of the cotton fabric I bead on. I also use very light tension when I bead and that makes a difference. Some of my students use really tight tension and I recommend something much stiffer for their backings! I've also used timtex (a stiffer interfacing used in fabric bowls, etc.) behind really large cabs or faces....I think I've used timtex behind most of my diane briegleb faces.

thanks beadbytes! I like your blog...

hi, lb! thanks and I'll be watching you tomorrow night...or will I just be hearing you? How does that work?

Morning, thank you BB for the great description of what you use for the beading foundation on your terrific pins. I really appreciate it --- and my friend, L, thanks you also. Your willingness to share your expertese is very much appreciated. Thank you again, BG

No problem, bg...I've had so many helpful hints passed on to me over the years, it's a real pleasure to pass something on myself!
