Finished

The Amulet is done...
I managed to make a couple of tiny wire attachments and then beaded the edge of the back opening....the bag is two layers of ultrasuede, beaded together along the edge. The necklace has small clasps on both ends of the softflex, so I can use it for several pieces in that color grouping...

Lovely amulet bag --- thank you for sharing the process with us. Is the beaded portion (which is on cotton, correct?) attached to the layer of ultra suede in anyway except via the edge beading? It is truly lovely.

Lovely BB. Congratulations on managing to get ALL those beads down with your poor sore hands.

hi jackie...since this is an amulet bag there are two layers of ultrasuede under/behind the cotton top...the one next to the cotton is attached both by the edging and by some archival two-sided tape (I use that instead of glue)....then the outside layer of ultrasuede is attached by just the edging, creating an actual ultrasuede pouch or bag...and thank you for your comments..

hi lb...thanks!

same to you lj...good to see you here! (the acupuncture is beginning to work...I'm just hoping it continues!)
