I'm starting to put the stations (pieces) in order...reading from top to bottom, left to right and then up from the bottom in the second column...the fifth one isn't quite done, but I wanted to see where it fit best...
Have you wondered why few people commented on your "series" posts? I think it's quite strange. Your body of work is so very impressive, and all that you wrote about your journey is amazing. Somewhere in my next post I'm going to link to each of your posts. Hope that's ok. People should see them!
When I look at your work I have that fleeting insecure thought that rises up and taunts me. I quash it immediately of course.
I love all the things that I've seen so far but your Basho journey intrigues me. I think I might transfer my own spiritual journey to a beaded quilt (just as soon as I figure out what it is that inspires me).
hi, bg! they're 4x4 inches, so the final piece will be large but not too unwieldy, I hope! They're meant for a show in the summer of 2008.
thanks, robin! I think I put them up very quickly...I may see more comments as the week goes on...but I'd love to have you link to them as well. I have great respect for your work, so your comments mean a lot to me.
hi, sam...glad to hear you're quashing those tiny voices...I always hope my work inspires rather than intimidates! A beaded quilt sounds wonderful...would love it if you'd come back and let me know when you start it?
