Both #4 and #5 Basho pieces are rich - full of depth and character. This will be an impressive piece, indeed! How many studies did you say there will be? When you do art in series, it always seems to move the artist into a higher level of creative process.
yes, bg....that's who it represents...glad it was recognizable! There will be 44 all together, robin. And I agree...every time I do something on a "larger" scale, concept-wise, I learn so much. For me, the need to make a move to a higher level seems to come about every two years...
