I've been reminded by a friend that I didn't mention how my husband is doing....well, he's very tired and in some discomfort, but he's been walking around since the morning after the surgery...they don't encourage lying about after this kind of surgery (vein replacement). We hope by his follow-up appt. next week he'll be skipping along - or at least in less pain!
In the meantime, I've got a little further on the august bjp and may have it done after my 4 hour stint at our local visual art center tomorrow.
The little cat (whose name isn't Bro, as it turns out) and I sat out on the sun porch this afternoon and I beaded while he dreamed of escaping into the yard again...

I didn't know about your husband having surgery until I read this post this evening. Sending peaceful and loving thoughts to both of you for his speedy recovery.

judi...we thought it was going to be Bro, but he's not turning out to be a Bro, so we're trying out different ones as we watch his personality emerge. He's only been with us for a week, so he's still coming out of his shy shell...but he's sure a sweetie!
