Larimar

A crystal I'd never heard of, but the color is so fantastic I couldn't pass it up. This was the most I've ever spent on a cabachon and I'm adding some peruvian opal rondells and freshwater pearls to it, so it will probably end up being one of the most expensive necklaces I've ever made. I'm sure inspired by the colors! The bone face is one of my favorites too, so it will be hard to give this one up, I'm sure, but that's the nature of the jewelry biz...

What a gorgeous pallet --- so fresh and cooling --- and with our weather in the humid 90's for what seems forever -- this is just so refreshing. Beautiful, BB.

hello, tatiana! I can't wait either, so I started it last night! This is what I love the most about bead embroidery, it's totally freeform and can go anywhere from it's beginning.
I do, diana!
hi, jackie...whew...90 is too high for this coastal gal!

Larimar is from Dominican Republic. I have a braslet and a ring with larmar. Your works are fantastic.

now that you have finished this peice how much do you think you put into it? I used those peruvian opal on a cab. I was upset because the holes sometimes got stuck on the needle and broke. :(
